Simpson ponders attacking changes

Stockport boss Paul Simpson could ring the changes as his team welcome Morecambe to Edgeley Park. County were nursing a New Year's Day hangover as they were hammered 4-1 by a Jack Lester inspired Chesterfield. The veteran netted a hat-trick and Simpson was left cursing his team's lack of cutting edge, meaning he could tinker with his forwards as they look to hit back. The County boss threw on a trio of attacking players in the second half in search of a way back into the game. That means James Vincent, Jake Simpson and Yannick Salem could be in contention for starts, likewise Greg Tansey who returns from suspension. Defender Mark Lynch will also press for a recall after he made the bench following his knee problem.
