Stockport boss Paul Simpson believes George Donnelly can strike up a fruitful partnership with on-loan Burnley rookie Wes Fletcher. Fletcher moved to Edgeley Park on a month's loan on Friday and impressed alongside Donnelly in County`s 2-1 home win against Barnet on Saturday. Simpson said: "I thought George and Wes showed a good understanding up front considering they've not even trained together. "George didn't train on Friday because he had a sore groin and he had to have a fitness test before the game. "But he came through that okay and I thought the two of them worked extremely hard and we've got to make sure we build on that now."
