Shaw named chief exec
Stockport have appointed Graham Shaw as their new chief executive and he will begin work in the role on Wednesday.
The former Stoke and Preston striker has worked in sports law and is well versed in contract negotiations and the recruitment of players.
He said: "I am absolutely delighted and honoured that the directors and shareholders have offered me this position at such a highly regarded and prestigious club.
"I am really looking forward to working with both the existing management and the supporters to bring renewed prosperity to the club in the forthcoming season and beyond."
