Saville looks to fix cup progress for Hatters

Stockport have signed Southampton defender Jack Saville on loan ahead of the FA Cup first-round home clash with Peterborough. The rookie centre-back, who joined Saints from Chelsea's youth system in March 2009, has linked up with Paul Simpson's struggling side until December 4. In a further boost, midfielder Anthony Pulis has extended his loan spell at Edgeley Park for a further month and both players are available to face Posh. However, midfielder Jake Simpson is suspended after he was sent off in County`s 5-0 reverse at Morecambe in midweek. It was the second successive match that Stockport have lost by that scoreline and could prompt the manager to make changes. Midfielder Matty Mainwaring remains sidelined as he bids to recover from injury.
