Stockport have been boosted ahead of the home clash with Burton after Southend striker Matt Paterson extended his loan spell until the end of the season. The former Southampton trainee has made six starts and scored two goals for County during his initial month at the club. He will remain at Edgeley Park until May 7 as the club seek to avoid relegation from the Football League. However, defender Jordan Rose succumbed to injury during Tuesday`s 3-0 defeat to Accrington and was replaced after just 23 minutes by David Poole. He will be assessed but is rated doubtful, while fellow defenders Mansour Assoumani and Daniel O`Donnell are definitely sidelined through injury. Striker Ryan Doble is available again after a three-match ban.
