Mathias: We haven't given up yet
Stockport caretaker boss Ray Mathias insists his side have not yet given up hope of staying in the Football League.
Bottom-placed County lie eight points adrift of safety with only four matches remaining and are seemingly doomed.
Yet Mathias says his men can take heart from their spirited second-half display in last weekend's defeat at Shrewsbury.
"We've had a small squad training this week but the mood has been good," said Mathias.
"We've tried to keep it light and enjoyable because we've got two games in three days.
"We haven't given up yet, you can be sure of that. I think the second-half performance at Shrewsbury proves that."
