The 19-year-old suffered a double fracture of his tibia and fibia in his left leg in a challenge during Saturday's friendly with Grimsby, and after going under the knife, he now faces six months on the sidelines. "Our club surgeon, Mr Turner, is extremely happy with the operation and Matty should be allowed home tomorrow (Wednesday). "As soon as his injured leg is load-bearing we will start his rehab at Manor Farm, and as long as there are no complications, like infections, he should be back playing again in around six months."
