Maguire quits role at Edgeley Park
Maguire has held the post since 2007 and helped to oversee the club's promotion from League Two last season.[LNB]However, financial difficulties this season has led to the recent departure of Jason Taylor, Gareth Owen, Jim McNulty and Anthony Pilkington.[LNB]A club statement said: "Mark Maguire, has tendered his resignation and he will leave the post he has held since 2007 with immediate effect.[LNB]"The club's board of directors and the current staff will continue day-to-day duties until a permanent successor has been identified.[LNB]"Stockport County would like to thank Mark for all his hard work and wish him all the best in the future."[LNB][LNB]
