Lynch out for County

Stockport boss Paul Simpson will be without defender Mark Lynch for the home clash with Crewe. The right-back suffered a knee injury in training last week and with Danny Swailes expected to miss most of the season with a knee ligament injury, Simpson is struggling for defensive options. Left-back Robbie Williams serves a one-match ban after picking up his fifth booking of the season in last weekend's defeat at Northampton. On-loan Watford youngster Tom Aldred was unwell but still played against the Cobblers and looks set to feature again as struggling County seek an upturn in fortunes against their Cheshire rivals. Boss Simpson said: "It's testing us a little bit at the moment because the numbers are very, very low."
