Stockport caretaker boss Peter Ward has been boosted by the arrival of four new loan signings ahead of the home clash with Gillingham. Striker Anthony Elding has joined the League Two strugglers on loan from Rochdale until the end of the season. Elding scored 26 goals in 52 appearances during his previous spell with County before joining Leeds in 2008. Blackpool duo Ishmel Demontagnac and Stephen Husband have arrived from Bloomfield Road on one-month loan deals. Newcastle defender Matthew Grieve has also agreed a one-month loan, with all four deals subject to Football League and Premier League approval. Ward will take charge following Paul Simpson`s sacking earlier this week following a run of just three wins in 19 games.
