Hatters slip to defeat

Goals from Chris Zebroski and Billy Kee helped Torquay to their first victory in five games following a 2-0 win over rock-bottom Stockport. Recalled Zebroski fired Torquay ahead in the 13th minute after great work by fellow forward Kee. County keeper Matthew Glennon could not hold Kee's thumping 20-yard shot and the ball fell to Zebroski, who guided the ball between two defenders on the line. Glennon more than earned his spurs for a succession of good saves, turning a Jake Robinson volley on to the bar and also palming another Kee effort on to the post. United eventually scored a second gaol when Kee strode forward from the halfway line in the 72nd minute. County's defenders backed off and the young Torquay ace let fly from 25 yards to beat Glennon with a shot that flew into the bottom corner off the rainsoaked surface.
