City were given the perfect start with a goal after just 64 seconds when a mis-hit cross from Kerrea Gilbert flew into the far corner of Owain Fon William's net. But Stockport were level after five minutes when the Foxes defence failed to clear, allowing Chris O'Grady to hook home from 18 yards. Gannon said: "Before the game we had a good chat about what we wanted to achieve. We know we are good enough to impose ourselves on games, and that is what we did." Speaking of his future with the Hatters, Gannon added: "All I want, whoever ends up owning the club, is for them to lay down their plans and then we will work hard with the remit we are given."
