Sale's Guinness Premiership match with Wasps at the same venue was postponed on Friday evening after heavy rain and more rain overnight has forced the FA Cup clash to be called off.[LNB]The game is set to be rearranged for Tuesday, December 8.[LNB]However, the second-round tie between Accrington and Barnet will go ahead following a pitch inspection on Saturday morning.[LNB]Heavy rainfall led to fears the game may be postponed, but the referee deemed the surface at the Crown Ground is playable.[LNB]Stanley chief executive Rob Heys said: "It is fantastic to hear that the referee is happy with the surface, a lot of work has gone into making sure that today's game goes ahead, and indeed to ensure that we don't have any further problems this season.[LNB]"Unfortunately it doesn't look pretty at the moment, however that will improve over the next few days, but what matters is that it has done the job."[LNB][LNB]
