Donnelly eyes County stay

On-loan Stockport striker George Donnelly has reiterated his desire to stay at Edgeley Park after his loan deal expires in January. The Plymouth forward agreed to a second spell with County during the summer but is due to return to the Pilgrims at the end of his six-month deal. Donnelly, 22, has netted four times in six games this season, including the equaliser in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Bradford. "I'm just going to try and carry on doing well for the team," he told the Stockport Express. "I'm concentrating on winning games and scoring goals and we'll see what happens in January. "If something comes along then I'd like to stay. We'll have to wait and see if I get offered something."
