County to check on Conlon

Stockport boss Paul Simpson will assess the fitness of striker Barry Conlon ahead of the home clash with Aldershot. The Dublin-born forward is struggling with ankle and knee problems and may be forced to miss out again. Conlon played no part in last weekend's 1-0 win at Oxford but Simpson will be reluctant to make any changes following his side's fine run of form. County have taken seven points from their last three games and are further boosted with the news defender Robbie Williams is fully fit and pushing for a starting role. Simpson's men began the season slowly but have gradually found their feet and the Edgeley Park boss said: "The attitude of the players has been fantastic."
