County swoop for duo
Stockport have signed goalkeeper Matt Glennon and midfielder Jake Simpson - son of County boss Paul Simpson.
Stockport-born Glennon, 31, was released from Bradford at the end of last season and winger Simpson played 20 times for Shrewsbury and won the club's Young Player of the Season award last term.
With the loan window due to open next week, County boss Simpson is hopeful of bringing in some more new faces to his squad.
