Ablett: This was a winnable game

The hosts, still rooted to the bottom of League One, created the lion's share of the opportunities but found Gills' goalkeeper Alan Julian in inspirational form.[LNB]"We felt before the game that Gillingham were vulnerable away from home. We certainly started well and created some good early pressure but we lost our way a little bit as the first half wore on," said Ablett. "We started the second half promisingly and their goalkeeper made at least a couple of excellent saves. Maybe it wasn't meant for us though.[LNB]"I'm disappointed because I felt this was a winnable game for us. Having said that I'm not going to criticise the players at all. Once again they were immense at times so I'm not annoyed with them.[LNB]"Two months ago we would probably have gone on and lost a game like this, but at least it's a point for us.[LNB]"Maybe we could have worked their goalkeeper a bit more, but it's all ifs and buts in football. We certainly got at them but it just wasn't to be I guess. I can't ask for any more from the players though."[LNB][LNB]
