Ablett praise for courageous Baker

Baker refused compassionate leave after his brother Mike died of leukemia last week and instead chose to play in Saturday's game at Yeovil. He scored both of County's goals in the 2-2 draw and took his total this season to nine, making him the league's top scorer. Ablett said: "Breaking the news of his brother's death was one of the hardest things I've had to do. "I suggested he went home for a week but he said Mike would have wanted him to play - and his performance showed what a great player he is."
