Move to block football name sales

The Scottish Football Association is expected to block moves to sell the naming rights for football teams.The plan has been put forward by Stirling Albion supporters who say they have been in discussions with Compare the Market.com. It could see the second division team playing as the Stirling Albion Meerkats. The club is said to be about £1.5m in debt and has survived two winding-up orders in recent months.
