Binos pay 48,000 income tax bill

Stirling Albion have made a £48,000 payment to HM Revenue and Customs to avert court action that could have shut the club down.The club had been threatened with closure previously after failing to pay an overdue tax bill. In May, the club's owner Peter McKenzie made a £41,000 payment to save the club from liquidation.
