Stirling could hand debut to Scott Buist against Queen's Park

Stirling have new signing Scott Buist available as they return to league action against Queen's Park after running Scottish Cup holders Inverness close.

Ross McMillan and Kevin McKinlay miss out with hamstring injuries, and assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "We will take a lot of heart from the performance at Inverness but it is all about getting points in the league now.

"Queen's Park are six ahead of us and this is a great opportunity to eat into that.

"They have beaten us twice this season but we never showed what we can do fully in either game. We will look to change that."

Second-top Queen's Park are without the injured Tony Quinn (hip) and James Baty (groin) as they look to open up a healthy gap on one of the other sides looking for a top-four place at the end of the season.

Head coach Gus MacPherson said: "Stirling have been putting in strong performances in the league for the last couple of months so it was no surprise that they gave Inverness two tough games.

"They will see this as an opportunity to get closer to us.

"However, we can see that off if we turn the good outfield play we are producing into goals."
