Day back to boost Stirling
Stirling have striker Stephen Day available after suspension as they open their home campaign with a visit from Peterhead.
Fit-again David McClune and new signing David Weatherston are pushing for starting places after getting game time under their belts in a midweek friendly outing.
Manager Greig McDonald is also able to call on Sandy Cunningham after family commitments kept him out of last Saturday's 2-1 success at Montrose.
McDonald said: "It is great to have options against what will be a very good Peterhead side. They have title ambitions and we would like to think we can run them close so this game will tell us a lot."
Blue Toon defender Callum MacDonald remains out with a knee problem as Jim McInally's side head to Forthbank.
Ryan Strachan returns from suspension to give McInally options, with the Balmoor boss also hoping to complete a loan deal for a defender before kick-off.
McInally said: "We are going into this game in good shape which is just as well as Stirling are a team full of experienced players.
"We had good battles with them last season and there was very little between the sides, I don't think it will be any different in this campaign. Hopefully we can just shade it and take the points home with us."
