Defensive duo missing for Stirling

Stirling will be without defenders Brian Allison and Ross Forsyth, who have both picked up knee injuries, as they look to keep their faint play-off hopes alive by seeing off in-form Peterhead.

Manager Greig McDonald said: "Peterhead are in great form with four wins in a row, during which they have scored 16 times and not conceded any but we will be looking for the win.

"We have four games to go and the plan is to win all four and see where we end up. We have had tight games with Jim McInally's team all season and if we win we are still in with a chance."

McDonald added: "We have only lost once in 13 games and have been strong at home so we can be confident."

Third-place Peterhead will look to maintain their charge into the play-offs but they may have to do it without top scorer Rory McAllister, who has a back problem.

The Blue Toon are already without Bryan Gilfillan, who has an ankle injury, as well as Callum Macdonald and David Ross who have had knee surgery.

Manager Jim McInally said: "Rory did not train on Thursday night as he was in that much pain. It will be touch and go whether he can make it for Forthbank.

"We are on a good run just now and I would like to move closer to securing a play-off place by beating a strong Stirling side that are also in good form just now."
