Duo return for struggling Stirling

Bottom of the table Stirling Albion welcome back Jamie McCunnie and Marc McCulloch from illness and Daly McSorley from suspension as they look to win for the second week in a row when Peterhead pitch up at Forthbank.

Despite being without Jamie Clark and Danny Ashe and with Gavin McPherson a major doubt manager Grieg McDonald hopes that the feel-good factor from last weekend's 6-3 win over Berwick continues.

McDonald said: "The boys have been flying in training this week and kick off cannot come quick enough for them. If we can build on last weekend's win against Peterhead then we are setting ourselves up for a good 2013.

"Peterhead are a good side but taking something from them will be another huge step in our progress."

Peterhead's chances have been given a boost by the return of Graeme Sharp after injury.

The Blue Toon will again be without Callum MacDonald and David Ross through injury with manager Jim McInally warning his men to be wary of their bottom of the table opponents.

McInally said: "Stirling have too good a pool to be bottom for long and they are bound to come good at some time. They won well last weekend and will be looking to build on that against us so we need to be prepared for a close game.

"There were signs last week against Annan that we are hitting the form I want to see."
