Stirling bring in Lewis McLear on loan ahead of clash with Montrose

Stirling have added St Mirren striker Lewis McLear on loan ahead of Montrose's visit to Forthbank.

Sandy Cunningham has moved out on loan to Berwick Rangers, while the injured Ross McMillan (hamstring), Kevin McKinlay (hamstring) and Willie Robertson (calf) all miss out and Craig Comrie is rated as a doubt.

Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "I have a lot of respect for Paul Hegarty as a manager and it looks like his Montrose side have turned the corner after a disappointing spell.

"They have added to their pool this week as well so this will be a very difficult game but it is one we can win."

Montrose have signed Neil Martyniuk on loan from St Johnstone and Jamie Clarke has been added after impressing as a trialist, while Terry Masson is also available after suspension.

Injury continues to keep Paul Watson (hip) and Ross McCord (knee) out.

Boss Hegarty said: "We have won two and drawn one in our last two games so we are building up a bit of momentum and confidence, which is great to see after a disappointing run.

"Stirling are a good side who won 3-1 at our place last month so it would be good to play well and win those points back."
