Trio back for Stirling

Stirling are almost at full strength as they look to keep their place in the top four by defeating Montrose at Forthbank.

Darren Smith is fit again following a calf problem, Ross Forsyth has overcome a groin injury and David McClune is back from suspension, leaving Blair Munn (ankle) as the only absentee.

Manager Greig McDonald said: "We lost 1-0 to Clyde last weekend as we did not have enough penetration in our attack.

"Hopefully we will see a much more potent display against a Montrose side that will be after a win to boost their play-off hopes."

Montrose have Garry Wood available following suspension as they look to pull level on 41 points with their opponents.

The Gable Endies have Scott Johnston struggling to play due to a knock while Callum Ferguson remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Manager Stuart Garden said: "We have taken 10 points from the last 15 which is good going in a competitive league. We have to keep that going as three points from this game means that we are very much in the promotion chase.

"We have yet to defeat Stirling this season so this would be a terrific time to do that."
