McDonald missing duo

Stirling Albion will be without the injured Craig Comrie (abductor muscle) and Phil Johnston (groin) as they look to defeat visitors Forfar and pick up their first home win of the season.

Manager Greig McDonald was left fuming by his side's display when they went down 5-0 to Brechin at Forthbank last Saturday and he is looking for a lot better this time out.

McDonald said: "We have 5 points which could be viewed as acceptable from a newly promoted team that has had three away games but the disappointment is that the points were picked up in those away meetings.

"We simply have to do better at home."

Forfar manager Dick Campbell's options have increased after Chris Templeman and Martyn Fotheringham were declared fit.

Andrew Steeves remains out with a hamstring problem and Aaron James is not yet available following a jaw operation with defender Michael Dunlop a doubt after picking up a knock in a midweek Under-20 game.

Campbell said: "This is a game that I am extremely wary of as there is nothing more dangerous than a wounded team. Stirling will have been wounded by their heavy defeat last weekend and be out to make amends.

"We played really well to defeat Peterhead last Saturday and we need to hit the heights of that performance again."
