Elgin leave Leslie at home

David McClune will come back into the Stirling squad for the visit of Elgin.

McClune's return from suspension is good news for player/manager Grieg McDonald, who will miss out along with fellow knee injury victims Brian Allison and Ross Forsyth.

Ahead of the game the Forthbank boss said: "The game might not have a great significance in our season but it is still very important. I have a number of players who are looking for contracts and a good performance against Elgin could seal the deal for them.

"I am also looking for a good performance to send the fans away home happy and we will need to play well as Elgin will come here pushing to stay in the promotion race."

Elgin travel without leading goalscorer Stuart Leslie.

Leslie is suspended and joins Paul Millar (knee) and Darryl McHardy (toe) on the sidelines so Fraser Forbes is added to the squad.

Sixth-place Elgin still have an outside chance of reaching the play-offs and Borough Briggs boss Ross Jack is hoping that history repeats itself.

He said: "We won 4-1 down at Stirling earlier in the season with the win set up by a terrific first-half performance.

"Craig Gunn hit a hat-trick that day and it would be terrific if we could get another game like that.

"It will be difficult as they are the most improved team in this league and any team that only loses twice in 15 games has to be respected."
