Double injury boost for Albion

Stirling have Darren Petrie and Marc McKenzie available again after injury and the duo are included in Stuart McLaren's plans to face visitors Edinburgh City.

The Forthbank side have been looking to get this game played for nearly two weeks, much to the frustration of manager McLaren.

He said: "It has been a frustrating period after losing 5-3 to Arbroath. We have wanted to get back on the pitch and put things right ever since and now we have the chance to do it.

"Edinburgh City have stuck together as a group for the last couple of years and are finding their feet in this league so this will be a tough game."

The capital club hope to include former Scotland striker Craig Beattie, who played with their hosts last season, after a knock but Nico Gibson is out with a thigh injury and Ross Guthrie is struggling with a hamstring problem.

Manager Gary Jardine said: "Stirling have one of the best squads in the league and they like to play a good brand of football as well. This is another tough game for us as part of our introduction to football at this level.

"However, we have shown improvement in every game this season and if we show improvement again we can take something home with us."
