Robertson and Buist absent as Stirling seek improvement

Stirling will be without the suspended Willie Robertson as they look to bounce back from their 6-0 defeat from East Fife last weekend.

The Binos face bottom-of-the-league East Stirling at Forthbank on a run of three consecutive losses, and will also be missing Scott Buist (hamstring) although Ross Smith could return.

Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said his side were keen to bounce back from a heavy defeat. He said: "It was a tough afternoon as we lost goals early and then spent a long time looking to get back into the game.

"We then lost our way in the final 20 minutes and we have to view this game as a chance to win some pride back by defeating East Stirling."

The Shire will again be without the injured Chris Townsley (rib), Ross Gilmour (foot) and Neil McCabe (thigh) as they look to end a run of four straight defeats.

David McKenna could return with head coach Craig Tully looking for his players to tighten up at the back.

Tully said: "There was not much between us and Clyde last weekend however they won as we gave away goals cheaply. We have done a lot of work on that on the training ground this week and hopefully we can show an increased level of strength at the back.

"Stirling will be on a recovery mission and we need to handle that."
