Albion pair miss out

Stirling Albion will be without Jamie Bishop and Bradley Coyne for their home clash with East Stirling.

Bishop is suspended and Coyne has an ankle injury, while Stirling will also be without Jamie McCunnie, who has left the club by mutual consent.

The last time the two sides met in March Stirling won 9-1, but manager Greig McDonald does not envisage a repeat score-line.

He said: "East Stirling have improved their squad since then and this game will be a lot tighter.

"I would settle for any win to keep our good start going."

Top-of-the-table East Stirling have added Scott Maxwell (thigh) and Ross O'Donoghue (hamstring) to an injury list that already included Michael Herd (groin), Rhys Devlin (knee) and Nathan Shepherd (knee).

Head coach John Coughlin is not looking for revenge following March's capitulation.

He said: "I'm not giving it a thought as it is a brand new season and we have a brand new team.

"There is no point mentioning a result we cannot change and all our efforts are going on the result we can influence.

"We have improved since the season started and will need to improve again to see off Stirling."
