Corrigan has plenty to ponder as five players prove fitness after injury

Stirling Albion will be boosted by the return to contention of five players for their home game against East Fife.

Scott Buist, Kevin McKinlay, Ross Smith, Aurelien Mazel and Lewis McLear are all available again, but Willie Robertson is an injury doubt.

Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "We put on a disappointing performance at Berwick last weekend where we conceded a goal after just 26 seconds and then missed an injury-time penalty that would have got us an equaliser.

"We need to push that aside and look to defeat the league leaders. They have done well since the turn of the year, however we know that we need to get a win to get our play-off chase going again."

The Fifers have doubts over leading goalscorer Nathan Austin but Stevie Campbell has shaken off a knock and will play.

Player/manager Gary Naysmith said: "Stirling will view this as a must-win game in terms of their play-off hopes.

"I watched Annan beat Queen's Park 3-1 in what was a must-win game for them on Tuesday and if Stirling put in a similar performance then we will need to play well to get the three points.

"If we win we stay at the top of the league, so our objective is a fairly simple one."
