Smith set for Stirling return

Stirling goalkeeper Chris Smith will face Clyde at Forthbank after getting the all-clear following a concussion sustained a fortnight ago.

Ross McMillan is available after injury and Ross Smith returns from a ban.

The fitness of Stewart Petrie is the only cause for concern for manager Stuart McLaren.

McLaren said: "We shot ourselves in the foot at Annan last weekend with silly mistakes and that is why we lost 3-2. Clyde strengthened over the summer and in Peter MacDonald and Dylan Easton they have two of the best attackers in this league so we cannot afford to make any mistakes in this game."

Striker Sean Higgins returns from suspension for Clyde.

However, former Albion player Jon-Paul McGovern and Scott Ferguson remain out due to knee injuries.

Bully Wee manager Barry Ferguson said: "I was pleased to get the 2-1 win over Montrose last weekend and there were lots of things in our play to be happy about. We scored great goals and it was good to see two of our new signings chipping in like that.

"However there were occasions where our play got scrappy and we need to ensure that does not happy against a Stirling side looking to get their season off and running. They will punish us if we are sloppy."
