Buist blow for Stirling

Stirling defender Scott Buist will miss out against Clyde at Forthbank after picking up a knee injury in the 1-0 defeat from East Fife on Saturday.

Kevin McKinlay continues to be out with a hamstring problem with assistant manager Martyn Corrigan saying: "There was very little between ourselves and East Fife at the weekend but we were perhaps not creative enough. That is not like us and hopefully we will put that right.

"Clyde have a squad full of experienced players, who are looking for wins to get involved in the play-offs, so it could be another tight game but hopefully we will have the edge in this one."

Clyde welcome back goalkeeper John Gibson and the versatile defender Scott Durie from suspension, but knee injuries have ruled out forward Brian McQueen, defender Scott McMann and midfielder Scott Ferguson.

Bully Wee manager Barry Ferguson looks set make changes despite defeating Berwick Rangers 2-1 at the weekend as he explained: "The first half performance was acceptable as it was played at a tempo that was good.

"However, in the second half we looked a totally different side and did not come close to playing like we can. I am expecting a lot better against Stirling. If we win this then we would go above Stirling and that is a good incentive."
