Weir could be missing for Albion

Stirling Albion may be without striker Graham Weir as they look to finally come off the bottom of the table against visitors Clyde.

The frontman picked up a knock to his leg in Tuesday night's 2-1 win over Annan and is rated as a doubt for the visit of the Bully Wee.

Brian Allison returns after a ban however Ross McGeachie's knock rules him out.

Player/manager Greig McDonald said: "We have picked up two wins and two draws in our last four games so it looks like we are turning the corner.

"Winning this game and moving off bottom spot will be further evidence that we are moving in the right direction."

Clyde will be without midfielder John Sweeney as they look to secure their third win of the season over their hosts after he was laid low by illness.

The Bully Wee could have Dumbarton loanee Kevin Nicoll back after a hamstring problem to compensate for Sweeney's absence, however they will be without David Marsh (groin) along with Gavin Brown (hamstring) and Michael Oliver (ankle).

Manager Jim Duffy said: "We took a heavy defeat from East Stirling in midweek as we did not take the chances we had when the game was goalless.

"We had good openings and in games as tight as the ones in the Third Division are you have to be more ruthless than we were.

"Hopefully we can do that and get the points at Stirling."
