Stirling without Staunton

Stirling entertain Berwick without defender Mark Staunton, who has dropped out of manager Stuart McLaren's squad after agreeing to leave the club just two months in.

Kevin McKinlay misses out through suspension and Darren Smith continues to be absent with a knee injury.

Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "Berwick are a good footballing side who will be hurting after losing 5-0 to East Fife last weekend. They will be out to make amends.

"We have yet to win a game on and are determined to put that right. We fought well with 10 men to get a draw last weekend and we will need that spirit again."

Berwick's plans to bounce back from their heavy defeat in Fife do not include goalkeeper Kevin Walker, who is suspended.

Steven Notman also remains out with a knee injury.

Player-manager Colin Cameron said: "We never saw a performance like that coming as we had started the season well. Sometimes in games you can cope with two or three players under-performing, however when you have more than that then you are up against it and that is what happened.

"My main criticism is that it took us to five minutes from half-time before we won a tackle and we need to be better than that at Stirling."
