Cunningham back for Stirling

Stirling will have Sandy Cunningham available for the visit of Berwick Rangers.

The striker has recovered from a head knock, however, he may have to be content with a place on the bench after David Weatherston's double in the 2-1 win over Annan last weekend.

Mick O'Byrne has also been passed fit to play after picking up a knock at Galabank, but Kieran McAnespie drops out due to work commitments.

Manager Greig McDonald said: "We were good value for our win last week and we will need the same level of performance to defeat a rejuvenated Berwick.

"Winning would create a gap between ourselves and a number of clubs chasing a play-off place."

Berwick are without defender Dougie Brydon, who has a hip injury, while midfielder Steven Notman remains out with a knee problem.

Boss Colin Cameron is planning to leap-frog Stirling and said: "This game will not decide who gets into the play-offs however winning it puts us in a much better position.

"The only way we can achieve the win is by playing at our best as Stirling had a terrific result at Annan last weekend.

"We played well to defeat Albion Rovers, however, we took our foot off the gas in the second half and that was disappointing.

"We cannot afford any slackness in this game."
