Cunningham blow for Berwick

Stirling striker Sandy Cunningham misses out against visitors Berwick as he is suspended following his dismissal against Alloa in the William Hill Scottish Cup at the weekend.

Chris Smith is also absent as he requires minor surgery on a knee injury and midfielder Mark Ferry is struggling due to illness and injury.

Despite their 3-2 defeat at Recreation Park, manager Greig McDonald took plenty of positives from the game

He said: "I was pleased with how we played and I know that if we play to that level against Berwick we have a terrific chance of winning.

"They are a good footballing side so we have to play well."

Berwick will have goalkeeper Paul Grant back between the sticks after he missed out of their cup tie with Dumbarton at the insistence of his parent club Hibs.

Dougie Brydon remains unavailable due to a pelvic injury, with manager Ian Little looking for his side to build on their recent win over Albion Rovers in the league.

Little said: "We ended a disappointing run by beating Albion Rovers and it would be great to make it two in a row. Six points from six can really change your position in this league.

"A win would see us join the rest of the promotion chasing sides."
