Stirling braced for Berwick response

Stirling will be without defender Jamie Bishop at home to Berwick after he was hit with a two-game suspension for an incident in last Saturday's goalless draw at Ibrox which was brought to the attention of the SFA by a fan.

Ross Forsyth is also a fitness doubt, however, Brian Allison and Kieran McAnespie both return after suspension while Ross McGeachie is available following a foot injury.

Player/manager Greig McDonald said: "It is disappointing to be without Jamie but we will move on. Berwick are the only team to have beaten us in our last 10 games so we know that we are in for a tough contest.

"It has been made more difficult by Berwick looking to bounce back after a home defeat last weekend."

Berwick head to Forthbank without Dougie Brydon due to a groin injury.

Dean Carse has shaken off a training ground knock while Phillip Addision looks set to overcome a back problem to be included as the Borderers, who lost for the first time in seven games last Saturday with a 2-0 home defeat to Peterhead, look to keep control of a play-off spot.

Manager Ian Little said: "We had been on a very good run but it is over now and we have to look to go on another one. The situation is a simple one in that if we win this game we stay in control of our destiny.

"Stirling have improved throughout the season and three points would keep their play-off hopes alive so we need to play well."
