Albion eye leader's scalp but McMillan and Forsyth miss out

Stirling Albion hope to cut table-toppers Annan's advantage to just three points but will look to do so without Ross McMillan.

Skipper McMillan has a hamstring injury and Ross Forsyth will miss out through suspension.

Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "The Annan manager Jim Chapman has his team playing at a very high consistency level that sees them picking up points in every game.

"They are a strong side who can hurt you with pace and from set pieces. We need to blunt those threats.

"The players have worked hard to get us into the promotion chase. We need to keep that going with a determined performance in this game."

Former Stirling player-manager Greig McDonald is an injury doubt for Annan, while striker Peter Weatherson is struggling with a knock.

Bryan Gilfillan will miss out due to a calf problem and Steven Sloan is sidelined with a rib injury, but David Ferguson and Josh Todd are both fit and could start.

Manager Jim Chapman said: "Things have clicked into place for Stirling, who are a very good run of results at the moment and will have taken confidence from that.

"No matter how well they are doing we need to concentrate on ourselves because despite doing well just now, we can play better than we have been."
