Stirling without experienced pair

Stirling will be without the experienced pair of Jamie Bishop and David McClune against Annan with Bishop ruled out with a hamstring problem and McClune an ankle injury.

There is some good news for manager Greig McDonald as Ross McGeachie and Phil Johnston are available again after knocks as the Forthbank manager looks for his fourth win of the season.

"We bounced back from our first defeat to win at Queen's Park and we want to get some momentum behind us by winning again," he said.

"Annan manager Jim Chapman has overhauled his squad well, and they have made a good start to the season, so it will be tough."

Annan will include Rangers defender Andrew Mitchell in their squad if the paperwork for his move is registered in time.

The Northern Ireland Under-21 international will join fellow temporary signings Martin McNiff from Dumbarton, Newcastle's Steven Logan and Josh Todd who was recruited from Carlisle in manager Jim Chapman's plans.

Fit-again Chris Jardine is available but Alex Mitchell (knee), Stephen Black (knee) and Steven Swinglehurst (groin) all miss out.

"Once Andrew is on board we will have competition for places in all positions," Chapman said. "That bodes well for a tricky game against a strong Stirling side.

"They have a strong goal threat that we have to negate."
