Beith back for Binos

Stirling welcome back Scotland Under-19 international Angus Beith as they host Airdrie in a game which could confirm their relegation.

Albion are 11 points adrift at the bottom of the table with five games to play, so a defeat coupled with wins for Ayr and Stenhousemuir would put the final nail in their coffin.

Darren Smith misses the game with a knee injury while Steven Doris has a stomach muscle problem.

Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "This will be a tough as Airdrie are going for the play-offs however we won at home recently against Peterhead in similar circumstances and will look to do so again."

Airdrie could hand a debut to Bob McHugh who has joined on-loan from Motherwell but Bryan Gilfillan (fractured cheekbone) and Jim Lister (groin) remain sidelined.

The Diamonds could find themselves in the top four for the first time this season if they win and Brechin lose at Morton.

Manager Gary Bollan said: "Stirling are still fighting for their lives so we know that this will be a really tough game.

"We beat Stenhousemuir last weekend however it took us a while to get into the game and I am looking for a faster start at Forthbank. I am delighted to get Bob in as he has experience of scoring goals at a higher level."
