Stirling see off Arbroath and claim their third straight win
Stirling claimed their third straight win as they saw off Arbroath 3-1 with 10 men in their Scottish League Two clash at the Forthbank Stadium.
On-loan Rangers defender Darren Ramsay set up Bobby Linn for his sixth goal of the season, slotting home from the centre of the box to hand the visitors the lead midway through the first half.
Stirling were looking for an equaliser as they began to dominate but Kevin McKinlay, Mark Lamont, Steven Doris and Willie Robertson all failed to find the target.
But the hosts finally got their reward 10 minutes after the break as Robertson fired home David Verlaque's cross from close range to level the scores.
Stirling lost goalkeeper Chris Smith to a straight red card just after the hour mark but the hosts battled on with a man disadvantage and Ross Smith headed them in front before Steven Doris slotted home an 82nd-minute penalty.
