Stirling cruise to the points

Stirling earned themselves a well-deserved 2-0 home victory over Albion to move up into fifth place in the Scottish League Two.

David Weatherston and Jordan White gave the home side the points with two second-half goals to sink one of their play-off rivals.

After a fairly even first half, Stirling took command in the second as they began to dominate both possession and chances.

The breakthrough, however, did not come until the 67th minute when Weatherston headed home after good work from Lee Hamilton.

Daniel Ashe then forced Albion keeper Neil Parry into a smart save before top scorer White wrapped up the points as he tucked home Stephen Day's cross to earn Stirling their seventh home win of the campaign.
