Anthony Ralston bags winner for Queen's Park at Stirling

Anthony Ralston's second-half goal gave Queen's Park a 2-1 win at Stirling.

The defender struck in the 57th minute to give Gus McPherson's side a fifth victory in seven League Two matches after Steven Doris had quickly cancelled out John Carter's opening effort.

The visitor's went ahead after 23 minutes when Carter swept the ball home from a Craig McLeish free-kick.

But Stirling, who were chasing successive home wins for the first time since May 2014, were immediately level through Doris' curling shot from the right-hand side of the penalty area.

Chances thereafter were few and far between but Ralston took his when is came, finding the net from six yards.

Ross Forsyth came close to rescuing a point for Stirling but his shot curled narrowly wide.
