McLaren revs up Peterhead
Fraser McLaren struck his fourth goal of the season as Peterhead won 2-1 at Stirling Albion to consolidate their position at the top of the league.
They went in front after 22 minutes through a familiar source. Rory McAllister hammered in his 17th league goal of the season from inside the area.
It could have been two moments later but Jordon Brown's close-range effort was saved.
But Stirling struck an equaliser seven minutes after half-time when Jordan Brown headed in a Craig Comrie corner.
Comrie missed a gilt-edged chance after 61 minutes and Peterhead made him pay five minutes later when McLaren received the ball from Brown and slammed home the winner.
