Ross Forsyth makes up for early mistake to rescue a point for Stirling

Ross Forsyth atoned for an earlier error to earn Stirling a 1-1 draw against Clyde in Ladbrokes League Two.

Dylan Easton came close to an early opener for the Bully Wee but his close-range effort was pushed away by Binos goalkeeper Chris Smith before Edward Ferns fired wide from inside the box at the other end on the stroke of half-time.

Clyde forward Sean Higgins opened the scoring with 73 minutes played, capitalising on a short back header by Forsyth to steal in and lob the ball over keeper Smith.

Defender Forsyth made up for his mistake six minutes later when he fired a rocket of a shot into the back of the net following a corner before his team-mate Ross Smith was dismissed near the end of the game for a second bookable offence.
