White denies Black and Golds

Annan missed out on the opportunity to move level on points with second-placed Clyde in Scottish League Two after Jordan White's injury-time leveller secured a 1-1 draw for Stirling.

The visitors stamped their authority early on in some style when Scott Davidson found space before spectacularly lobbing David Crawford from an acute angle to send Athletic into a 14 minute lead.

Despite falling behind, Stirling dominated possession but struggled in front of goal with a half-hearted Graham Weir penalty call the closest they came to levelling before the game turned on its head with minutes remaining.

Firstly Annan were reduced to 10 men after Peter Watson was dismissed for a poor challenge and, from the resulting free-kick, White rose highest to head Daniel Ashe's delivery beyond Kenny Arthur sparking wild celebrations.
