Westley: We were mugged

Stevenage manager Graham Westley felt his side had been "mugged" after sinking to a 1-0 defeat at Stevenage. Former Torquay man Nicky Wroe, the most influential player on the pitch, made the breakthrough for the Shrews in the 37th minute. Lionel Ainsworth's shot was blocked but Wroe controlled instantly before flicking a measured shot to the far corner of the net. Westley said: "For large periods of the game we've dominated, certainly in the second half. "People can say what they want about them maybe sitting in a bit at 1-0 but I said to Graham (Turner) at the end that I felt as though we had been mugged. "He didn't have anything to say back to me which is probably an indication that he felt the same way. "We have to look at our attacking, our possession, our defending, our attitude and our approach, and improve each. If we do that and I think it's only small percentages throughout the team then we will get to that winning level at this new level."
