Westley staying positive

Stevenage manager Graham Westley was down but not out after seeing his side slump to a 1-0 defeat at home to Hereford. Joe Colbeck`s stunning 83rd-minute strike from distance condemned Boro to defeat and the result sees them slip to 13th place in League Two, eight points adrift of the play-off places. Westley said: "We've spoken on numerous occasions about giving the opposition too much respect. Again we've sat back and let them come onto us and they've breached us. "We were always going to be facing a tough task, though. We paid particular attention to certain things in training but it's still not really helped us. "Maybe we need to have another sit down between now and the weekend to see where we can move forward again from here. It's disappointing, but it's not the end of the world. "It's been a long, hard season and it seems that maybe some of the lads are suffering a little bit. Certainly there were lapses in concentration at times here, so that has to be looked at."
